High School Presentations

This presentation discusses the root causes to all forms of online sexual exploitation by looking at how various internet dynamics play a role in vulnerability and susceptibility. Students will learn about the 3 types of online exploiters and their different grooming tactics, as well as defining a predator by their behaviours rather than a stereotype.
Other topics covered include sextortion, current exploitation trends, sexting and the law, online permanency, AI, high risk platforms such as OnlyFans, as well as digitally facilitated trafficking.

This presentation engages students on the topic of consent and empowers healthy peer relationships by creating a desire in every student to understand the benefits of consent.

Students will be guided through understanding consent, boundaries, and healthy behaviours. These concepts will be woven throughout various forms of sexual exploitation. Topics covered include peer exploitation, sexting, sugar baby behaviours, and digital grooming. Current trends will be analyzed while educating students on the laws from a support based approach. Students will also learn how to incorporate these concepts into the digital space.

90% of human trafficking victims in Canada are Canadian citizens. Taught by an experienced expert, students will learn how trafficking takes on many forms and occurs locally. Grooming tactics, digital trafficking, and sextortion will be discussed with local case examples. An emphasis will be built on addressing the normalization and glamorization of high risk behaviours such as sugar babies and OnlyFans. Students will understand our laws, and critically think about how their actions make an impact.
