Educators and school district staff play a key role in the personal lives and safety of their students.
Often times, a student's safety and wellbeing relies on school staff, who come in contact with them daily. Learn about one of the most common and under-discussed youth issues: Sexual Exploitation.
Staff will learn about the different forms of sexual exploitation, current trends with the students in their community, the different forms of predators and peer driven exploitation.
Staff will walk away with a better understanding of how these issues affect their students and what they can do to help make a difference.

Social service provider / front line worker training
Many social service providers and front line workers have youth clientele who are being sexually exploited, or at risk.
These youth can go under-serviced without the proper training and education on the topic.
Our Youth Sexual Exploitation Workshops in Canada will educate staff on the warning signs of exploited youth, current grooming tactics, recent trends, and relevant legislature and resources to help protect their clients.
Staff will also have the chance to create concrete strategies for their own clients and have their personal concerns addressed.

Law enforcement training
Due to the nature of coercion, many sexually exploited youth and human trafficked victims continue to go undetected by Law enforcement.
Additionally, the challenges of being a front line worker and the limitations to work within the justice system can prove to be strong barriers both for victims and for law enforcement alike.
Our Sexual Exploitation Adult Training in Canada covers fist glance and behavioural indicators of trafficking victims, current grooming tactics, various forms of sexual exploitation and their recent trends.
Additionally, relevant legislation is discussed alongside practical human rights based strategies to assist human trafficked and sexually exploited victims.
