Tiana Sharifi

Tiana Sharifi is internationally recognized as a Canadian expert in the field of anti-sexual exploitation and human trafficking, boasting over a decade of direct experience. Tiana began her career providing educational workshops on human trafficking and soon after, began working with youth victims of sexual exploitation and adult women victims of gender violence and human trafficking.

With a background in Psychology and Counseling, she has consistently approached all forms of sexual exploitation through an understanding of human behavior and root causes. Tiana's commitment to accessibility to the broader public is evident in her approach, which addresses root causes, such as consent and addressing vulnerabilities through a light-hearted perspective.

Founding Sexual Exploitation Education (SEE), Tiana envisioned bridging gaps in prevention by tackling root causes with a gentle touch. In 2023, SEE evolved into the Exploitation Education Institute, expanding its reach and impact.

As both a seasoned professional and a mother, Tiana has dedicated her life to combating child and youth sexual exploitation, online exploitation, and gender-based violence.
